The services offered here are not common. It is easy to find an accountant to do your accounting; equally easy to find a programmer to write something for you. However, finding an individual who can do both and well is not common. Finding an individual who can do it at reasonable cost is even less common. Nevertheless, not all companies would need or benefit from my services. You would greatly benefit from my services if:

1) Your business processes are not simple or basic. Just to give you an idea:
Example 1: A Trucking company: here you need to assign an order from a client to a driver to a route to a date and time range to a truck to a rate to finally, a customer invoice.
Example 2: an Event Management company: you need to assign an event to a venue to attendees to a client to various expenses to employees who worked on the project to finally, a customer invoice.
2) You are seriously considering changing your current system that makes you walk sideways.

PLEASE NOTE:
• I do not do accounting using any other software. If for instance, you are using Great Plains or ACCPAC or any ERP and needing someone to run it, you don't need my services.
• I create, install, maintain the system with all the features you need and without the nonsense, and do the accounting on a weekly or bi-weekly or monthly basis (depending on the volume of operations) up to and including year end statements.
• I do not sell systems or software at all. If you need a new system and already have someone to do your accounting, buy what's on the market or get a programmer to write one for you.
I provide accounting services to specific businesses: those that have realized that the one size solution does not fit or are dissatisfied with their current accounting package that forces them to operate their business as dictated by the software instead of the no nonsense way. I provide the service with the system and the system with the service. One does not go without the other.
• If you prefer to have a CA/CGA/CMA do your accounting, run an ad.
• I do not do year end corporate taxes; I prefer to leave this to tax accountants. You can use yours or one of my clients', whatever works for you.

WHO IT IS NOT FOR:
An expandable integrated system is superfluous if your business process is simple. Just as examples:
-> Retail/Wholesale businesses or the like. The accounting process consists in entering daily sales, expenses, payables, and payroll. The Sales and Purchase processes are simple. All you need is a general accounting software.
-> Junior mining company. Accounting is limited to recording investors' money and keeping track of exploration expenses, and payroll; in this case an off the shelf package would suit your needs just fine.
Switching to an integrated system is ill advised if you feel you don't need to. Although your business would greatly benefit from it, you might feel that your current accounting software is doing the job fine. In a sense you are right. You have developed over the years workarounds to the point that inefficiencies have been camouflaged and walking sideways has become second nature.
